Our son Baxter fought Ependymoma Brain and Spine cancer for 4.5 years. He was diagnosed on April 6, 2015, at 4 years old, and gained his Angel wings on August 10, 2019, at 8 years old. We traveled to 4 different medical facilities for treatments over those years, and we always had a goody bag of toys and coloring books, and if we didn’t, or he got bored with what we did have, we would take him to the gift shop to get some more. He LOVED getting packages in the mail. We decided to share his Smile and some of his favorite activities with kids going through the same thing he went through. He loved to paint, color in coloring books, play-doh, and any crafting he could do. We hope that these put a Big Smile on the child's face as big as they would put a Smile on Baxter’s.

One Smile at a Time

At BaxStrong Foundation INC., we are dedicated to making sure every child diagnosed with cancer receives Baxter’s Smile Box. In the box, there are arts and crafts, and other activities to keep their minds off of the battle they are going through while they are in the hospital, and traveling to and from.

Commitment to our Community

With our organization’s mission always in mind, and Baxter’s love for his peers and his doctors and nurses, we want to give young adults graduating high school and wanting to pursue a degree in the medical field a chance for Baxter Duddy’s Scholarship fund.
